Food For Thought Health Podcast
Nourishing Community One
Solution at a Time
Community is important for connecting people. It relies on helping each other, working together, and creating an environment where everyone belongs.
Communities are powerful…and an important concept for social change because it helps us see that social change requires changing some of the most important stories we tell ourselves.
Our Why
Who We Are
First and foremost, we are cousins! Professionally, as a doctor and a chef, we are deeply aware of the benefits of access to whole foods in creating thriving communities and healthy bodies.
We’ve created this podcast to learn more and amplify the good work happening in communities building food sovereignty and better access to healthy foods.
We have a particular interest in how faith and food intersect to allow for flourishing communities.
What We Do
We release new episodes every few weeks. We discuss programs with community leaders who are resourcing healthy food and design programming with communities to improve access to healthy food choices.
Why We Do It
We intend that the Food for Thought Health Podcast has the potential to raise awareness of the greater effort being made in communities around the US to reduce barriers to healthy food and improve disparities in outcomes due to food justice gaps.
